Oppo announces Super-slim R5s smartphone with 3GB RAM

Chinese device maker Oppo has announced a new Smartphone of its popular variant super-slim R5, called as R5s. Oppo was launched R5 last year. It is an ultra-thin Smartphone which measures at just 4.85mm holds the record as the thinnest phone in the world, which was built with a stainless steel micro-arc frame garanttees of no bending.

The Newly launched R5s is only listed in the company’s European website at 199 Euros. The website also gives away the official word on worldwide release on August 25. The new Oppo R5s increase RAM 2GB to 3GB and Storage from 16GB to 32GB remain specs are same.

The R5s comes with 5.2-inch (1080x1920pixel) Full HD AMOLED display, with pixel density of 424ppi. It is powered by a powerful 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with 3GB of RAM under the hood, and device comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can further no expansion storage option. The devices sports company’s own UI ColorOS 2.0.1 built on Android 4.4 Kitkat

The Oppo R5s sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers 2,000mAh battery with fast charging technology, for connectivity the R5s has 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and a microUSB v2.0 port. The device will be available exclusively in a Grey color scheme, and retail for $220 when it lands on August 25th, Will cost around 15,000 in the Indian market.
