Samsung launches Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India Priced at Rs. 57,900

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been priced at Rs. 57,990. The Smartphone will go on sale on August 28, while pre-orders open from Wednesday.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes with 5.7-inch Stunning Quad HD (1440x2560 pixels) super-AMOLED dual-edge display, with a pixel density of 515ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 Exynos 7420 processor, for a realistic gaming experience 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The device comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and does not include a microSD card slot. Samsung will also be providing 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for free, and features a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with Fast Charging technology. With wired charging will deliver a full charge in roughly 90 minutes, and wireless charging a full charge in roughly 120 minutes.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes with support for India's 4G LTE bands. It features NFC and MST technology. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0 (instead of the new USB-C port).
