Oppo Launhes new 4G Smartphone R7s with 4GB of RAM, 5.5 inch Full-HD Amoled Display

Chinese device maker Oppo has launched R7s smartphone at the ongoing consumer electronics trade fair GETIX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) 2015, Dubai, UAE. The R7s will be launching first in Australia followed by other markets including Singapore and Taiwan among others. However, Oppo has not given any details about the phone's availability in India or its pricing, yet.

The Oppo R7s features a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) Full-HD Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and it is a dual-sim smartphone with hybrid sim slot, which supports both micro-sim and nano-sim cards. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8939) 615 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, the device comes with 32GB of internal storage and it supports expanadable storage option up to 128GB via microSD card.

The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and while there is a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device backed a 3,070mAh non-removable battery and also adds that the handset features VOOC flash charging technology. The company claims that 5 minutes of charge can offer up to 2 hours of talk time.

Oppo's new smartphone R7s runs Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with ColorOS 2.1 and in addition to 4G, can support Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, microUSB, and USB OTG, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
