Panasonic Launches ToughPad Tablet With 20-Inch 4K Display, INR 2.4 Lakhs

Panasonic has launched the world's first 20-inch Windows-powered tablet the Toughpad FZ-Y1 with 4K resolution display in India priced at Rs 2, 40,000. This Windows 10 running rugged tablet is meant for broadcasters, photographers, architects and other professionals.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 comes with a 20-inch (3840x2560 pixel) 4K IPS alpha LCD display with an aspect ratio of 15:10. It is 12.55mm thick and weighs 2.41kg. It is powered by Intel Core i5-5300 vPro SoC with Intel HD Graphics 5500 paired with 8GB of RAM. It comes with a 256GB of SSD storage and there are multiple ports such as a USB 3.0 port, an SDXC card slot, a mini Display Port, an HDMI 2.0 port and so on. It features Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-fi.

Since it is a rugged tablet, it comes with special features optimised for durability. According to Panasonic, the tablet can withstand a drop from up to 76 cm height. The device can also work under temperatures going from -26 degrees C to 60 degrees C.
